Sindh Police and Rangers successfully carried out a joint operation, leading to the arrest of a highly sought-after target killer associated with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement London (MQM-L) in Karachi’s Korangi area.
The operation took place in Korangi Mehran Town, where the joint forces apprehended Junaid Bulldog, the most-wanted target killer affiliated with MQM-London.
According to the Rangers spokesman, Junaid Bulldog is allegedly responsible for the target killing of over 36 individuals in Karachi and was wanted by the police. The spokesperson further revealed that the accused had close ties with MQM London terrorist Raees Mama and served as the mastermind of the target killing group in Korangi.
During the interrogation, the target killer admitted to injuring several adversaries by opening fire on them. He also confessed to his involvement in the attack on a police bus in Korangi.
The incident targeting the police bus occurred on August 11, 2011, resulting in the martyrdom of four police personnel and injuring 26 others. The suspect had been evading arrest and hiding in the Jhal Magsi area of Balochistan since 2013.
The arrested suspect was wanted in multiple cases, including murder, attempted murder, arson, and terrorism. He has now been handed over to the police for further investigation.
