• Police Launch Crackdown Ahead of PTI’s Minar Pakistan Rally.

Police arrested over 50 workers of the Tehreek-e-Insaf party from different areas of Rahim Yar Khan and 26 workers, including the son of PTI leader Javed Ansari, in Multan ahead of the party’s Minar Pakistan rally. The PTI claims many workers have also been detained from Lodhran and Bhakkar. In addition, the house of PTI leader Usman Dar was raided in Sialkot, but he was not present during the raid.
