In Peshawar, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has apprehended an accomplice of the terrorist who carried out the suicide attack at the police lines.
Additional Inspector General of CTD, Shaukat Abbas, revealed in a press conference that the attack was planned in Afghanistan and executed by the banned TTP-ul-Ahrar group.
The arrested accomplice is expected to provide significant information to law enforcement agencies about the terrorist network and their plans.

During a press conference in Peshawar, Additional IGC TD Shaukat Abbas revealed that the recent attack on the Police Lines was planned in Afghanistan by the banned group TTP-ul-Ahrar.
He added that the police had arrested an accomplice of the suicide bomber and traced the mastermind and handler of the attack. The mastermind, identified as Ghaffar alias Salman, was in contact with the suicide bomber on the day of the incident. The suicide bomber was identified as Qari, and his facilitators are also known to the authorities.
