Pakistan has no diplomatic and trade relations with Israel, said Foreign Office on Sunday.
The spokesperson from the Foreign Office gave a statement in response to reports about Pakistani goods being sold in Israel. They said that Pakistan’s policy towards Israel has not changed. They suggested contacting the Ministry of Trade and Commerce for further information.
The Ministry of Commerce in Islamabad released a statement saying that rumors about Pakistan starting trade with Israel are false and just propaganda. They said that the news of trade relations between the two countries was misrepresented by the American Jewish Congress in their press release, which did not mention any official trade between the two countries.
The statement was made after claims were made by the American Jewish Congress that a shipment of Pakistani food products had been delivered to Israel by Pakistani-Jewish businessman Fishel Benkhald. Benkhald shared a video on Twitter of the goods he had exported to Israel, including dates, dried fruit, and spices.
