Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have agreed to strengthen their economic relationship in major sectors. This is an excellent development for both countries to bring the potential investment to increase trade and collaboration, with a new agreement.
Federal Minister for Planning Development & Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal and UAE Minister of Economy Abdulla bin Touq Al-Marri made significant progress in their discussions at the World Government Summit in Dubai on Wednesday, in the presence of Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Malik.

The Minister acknowledged the strong and long-standing partnership between Pakistan and the UAE, expressing his sincere gratitude to the UAE Government for their unwavering support throughout difficult times. From natural disasters to economic crises, the UAE has been a loyal ally to the people of Pakistan, and this has been greatly appreciated.
The Emirati Minister and Pakistani authorities recently discussed ways to strengthen the already strong trade relations between countries. Areas such as tech, energy, and agriculture were identified as having vast potential for mutual collaboration. The Emirati Minister welcomed these suggestions and showed a keen interest in pursuing them. He invited Pakistan to sign a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement’ with the UAE to help take trade relations to the next level.
