Bahawalpur: Pakistan’s famous designer Maria B is once again facing severe criticism from social media users.

The photoshoot of Maria B brand’s new women’s collection is going viral on social media, and social media users are expressing outrage over it.

A social media user belonging to the ruling Nawab Abbasi family of Bhawalpur shared a screenshot of Maria B’s brand photo shoot and wrote that it is her maternal grandfather’s grave cover on which Maria B’s model is dancing.

The said user expressed his anger by announcing that strict action will be taken against Maria B for shooting photos of the Abbasi family’s graveyard.

Social media users reacted to the post by saying that Maria B usually speaks out on Islamic traditions and Shariah and insists on implementing the Islamic system, but she is not shy about doing her own brand’s photoshoots in graveyards.

Another user said that Maria B strongly condemns transgenders and LGBT, but she does not realize this when she makes her models dance in the cemetery.

It should be noted that earlier this type of photo shoot by Maria B’s clothing brand went viral in which graves and mosques were disrespected.
