The police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mardan district have arrested a fake major involved in drug trafficking. The arrest was made when the police stopped a suspicious vehicle during a blockade based on a tip-off.
The person in the vehicle identified himself as a major of the Pakistan Army but was later found involved in the heinous crime of drug trafficking.
The Excise Department police in Mardan district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, apprehended a man identified as a major in the Pakistan Army during a blockade on a tip-off.
When the police asked to search the vehicle, the suspect fled. After a lengthy chase, the police intercepted the vehicle near Risalpur Gate and discovered 60 kg of hashish hidden inside. The accused had intended to transport the drugs to Punjab.

Following an initial inquiry, it was discovered that the accused was from Abbottabad and had obtained a fake Pakistan Army major’s uniform through fraud.
