The Lahore High Court ordered the government to submit the records of Tosha Khana from 1947 to 2001.
A 2-member bench headed by Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan of Lahore High Court heard the government’s appeal against the decision to make public the records related to Tosha Khana gifts from 1990 to 2001.
Deputy Attorney General Nasr Ahmad said that the records of the Tosha Khana from 1947 to 1990 are not available, while the court said that the first order should be followed. These are the assets of the state. It is sad to hear that there is no record. It is not digestible that there is no record. The Deputy Attorney General said that he was also surprised.

The court said that it is a matter of the entire nation, to bring all the records of Tosha Khana from 1947 to 2001, otherwise, all the officers from that time till now will have to appear in the court, even if those officers have retired.
The Lahore High Court ordered to present all the records of Tosha Khana and adjourned the hearing on the government’s appeal till the last week of May.
