Renowned playwright Khalilur Rehman Qamar has recently revealed the names of the main actors for his upcoming play, “Main Manto Nahi Hoon.” The drama, which had faced temporary delays for various reasons, is now set to be released soon, according to the production team.
While there were speculations about Mehwish Hayat and Maya Ali potentially joining the cast of the project, directed by Nadeem Baig, no official confirmation had been received regarding their involvement.
During a recent appearance on the show “Mazaaq Raat,” Qamar excitedly announced that Humayun Saeed has been cast in the lead role for his upcoming play. This confirmation aligns with Saeed’s earlier statement in an Independent Urdu interview. The audience and host, Wasay Chaudhry, burst into laughter when Qamar jokingly stated that he had been advised not to mention Sajal Aly’s name when inquired about the female lead.
