According to a weather expert, Karachi experienced a fresh bout of rain expected to persist throughout the day on Thursday.

Several areas, including MA Jinnah Road, Saddar, Jamshed Quarters, Soldier Bazar, Azizabad, Baldia, Surjani, Clifton, Defence, Kharadar, Korangi, and others, witnessed showers with thunderstorms.

The weather expert, Jawwad Memon, stated that Karachi experienced the rainfall due to the impact of western winds, and further clouds are expected to move in from the Arabian Sea.

Memon added that there would likely be more rain in the western and central areas of the city within the next two to three hours. He also mentioned the possibility of intermittent moderate and heavy rain in certain places throughout the day.

He added that the weather system would gradually move towards Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by tomorrow, and the rain chances in Sindh will decrease from Friday onwards.
