Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan’s lawyer petitioned the Islamabad High Court to stop his Tosha Khana criminal case arrest. The court granted a stay order on the arrest and notified the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to submit its response. The NAB had earlier rejected Imran Khan’s request to cancel his arrest warrant in the case.
In the petition filed by Imran Khan, it has been said that he will appear in the session court of Islamabad himself tomorrow, and the police should be stopped from arresting him by accepting the undertaking.
Imran Khan requested the Islamabad High Court to hear the petition today.
The petition filed by Chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan challenging the decision to reject the request for cancellation of warrants in the Tosha Khana criminal case is being heard by Chief Justice Amir Farooq of the Islamabad High Court. During the hearing, Imran Khan’s lawyer Khawaja Haris informed the court that the biometric objection had been removed.

Still, there was an objection to the re-hearing, which had already been decided. Harris clarified that the court had not determined the case and was sent to the trial court.
Justice Amir Farooq said that the trial court was asked to look into the matter of the undertaking. Khawaja Haris said that the trial court was not satisfied with the project. Imran Khan wants to appear in court voluntarily, and the project is only there. Rather, we have given another request.
Chief Justice Islamabad High Court said that everyone is equal before the law. Now you want to appear in court and give assurance? Khawaja Haris told the court should suspend the warrant so they could appear tomorrow.
Later, the court stopped the arrest of Imran Khan in the case and said that Imran Khan should be allowed to appear before the court tomorrow, and the district administration and Islamabad police should take steps to provide security.
