ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister of Science Agha Hassan Baloch expressed his indignation over the un-Islamic and unethical question asked by Comsats University. He termed it as an insufficient and unsatisfactory action.
According to the reports, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Agha Hasan Baloch has expressed his anger over the issue of un-Islamic, unethical questions being asked to students in the first semester of English subject of BEE at Comsats University.
The federal minister has also formed a two-member inquiry committee on behalf of the ministry to re-investigate the matter. The inquiry committee will complete the investigation within a week and submit its recommendations to the federal minister.
Federal Minister for Science and Technology Agha Hasan Baloch has issued instructions that the heads of the examination department and its related departments should be suspended until the recommendations of the inquiry committee come out.
Federal Science Minister Agha Hasan Baloch said that it is the negligence of the examination department, that such senseless, unethical, and un-Islamic questions went unnoticed at the initial stage.
They further said that the government will not tolerate culture and traditions based on immoral and un-Islamic concepts. The current government has regulated modern scientific studies in the education sector to protect the values and traditions of the Islamic system. It is our duty, and we will take the necessary steps to implement it.
It should be remembered that in the examination paper at Islamabad’s Comsats University. , students were asked a specific question regarding incest (the immoral relations of siblings). The picture went viral and created a rage among users.
People on social media shared different opinions and said that asking such senseless and immoral questions to students in a university paper puts a question mark on the future of our children.
