It has been reported that a joint investigation team will be formed to investigate the recent violent attacks by armed groups on the police and the court in the situation that arose during Imran Khan’s appearance at the judicial complex in Islamabad.
The decision to form the JIT was reportedly taken during a meeting of coalition parties, and a summary of the formation of a high-powered joint investigation team has been prepared.
The JIT will include officers from the Ministry of Interior, police, and sensitive institutions and investigate the police violence in Islamabad.

The team will submit its report within seven days, collecting facts related to petrol bomb attacks on the police, trained militants of banned organizations, evidence of breaking the gate of the judicial complex, stone pelting, burning of motorcycles and vehicles, vandalism of property, and interference in the government.
The JIT will also identify those responsible for inciting violence against state institutions, and the government will decide on further legal action in light of the JIT’s report.
