The Islamabad High Court has taken action against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan, by issuing a contempt notice and linking the case to other ongoing cases.
This development comes after a hearing was held regarding a contempt of court petition filed by Assistant Commissioner Abdullah against Imran Khan for failing to comply with a court order.
The hearing was presided over by Chief Justice Amir Farooq, and Raja Rizwan Abbasi represented the petitioner.

During the hearing, Raja Rizwan Abbasi, the lawyer representing Assistant Commissioner Abdullah, expressed his opinion that Imran Khan was responsible for maintaining law and order during his appearance.
He also noted that the Islamabad High Court had previously suspended a non-bailable warrant against Imran Khan on the condition that he appeared in court peacefully.
Despite this, the court issued a contempt notice to Imran Khan. In response, Chief Justice Amir Farooq mentioned that the Inspector General of Police, Islamabad, had been asked to provide a report.
