It is worth noting that during a recent Senate meeting, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar mentioned the delay in the IMF agreement. Dar stated that while a few friendly countries promised to provide support, the IMF now insists they fulfill their commitments first.
He also remarked that the IMF had made numerous demands, which is unusual. Dar emphasized that Pakistan will prioritize its national interest and will not make any compromises regarding its nuclear or missile program. He further added that nobody has the right to dictate the range of missiles or nuclear weapons that Pakistan should possess.
