People’s Party leader and senior jurist Barrister Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan has said that if funds are not provided to the Election Commission as per the order of the Supreme Court, contempt of court action may be taken against the Prime Minister, Law Minister, and Interior Minister.
Speaking in the Geo News program ‘Capital Talk’, Aitzaz Ahsan said that if the government and Tehreek-e-Insaf agree for the election between May 14 and October 2, the Chief Justice can facilitate.
Aitzaz Ahsan said that when the court was opened at midnight and the van of prisoners arrived, the government of Imran Khan fell, the Chief Justice was his favorite judge at that time that theory is necessary.

He said that Yusuf Raza Gilani was disqualified for 5 years, and the same can happen to Shahbaz Sharif, the government is not aware of the seriousness of the situation, and the action taken in the assembly is protected, the Supreme Court on 14 May. Elections have been ordered, but the government says that the elections will not be held on May 14, and no judge can be discussed in the parliament, and if anyone thinks that the election will be postponed by four to six months or a year, then it will not happen. If the period is extended, then every succeeding government will postpone the elections.
The senior jurist said that there is severe grouping among the judges of the Supreme Court and they do not even shake hands with each other, they are not even ready to talk, and the Chief Justice is a cold-tempered person.
He said that I am not Imran Khan’s lawyer, if the Tarian case is proven against Imran Khan, at least 30 percent of the candidates will accuse their opponents in the same way in the next election.
