“I will Give the First Arrest’’ Imran Khan’s Statement Regarding Jail Bharo Tahreek

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said that he will give the first arrest and will lead Jail Bharo Tahreek once I get fully recovered. I already know the elections will be rigged and Nawaz Sharif wants my disqualification at any cost. 

In a meeting with foreign journalists at his residence in Zaman Park Lahore, Imran Khan said that the establishment is not the name of any man, whoever becomes the new army chief implements his own policy. General (R) Bajwa lobbied with Hussain Haqqani, all of these people used to lobby against me in America.

He said that for the first time, the people of Pakistan did not accept the regime change, but now people involved in the events of May 25 are brought forward, and it seems that the elections will be rigged.

Imran Khan said as the constitution says new elections must be held within 90 days once the assemblies are dissolved. Whenever the assemblies will be dissolved, the same people will be appointed to the caretaker government. It seems that Bajwa’s policy is still running. Imran Khan said that ‘Giving an extension to General Bajwa was a big mistake, it was not even a mistake but a big blunder’.

Chairman PTI asked that government must answer why dollars, petrol, and other things are getting expensive. He said that the court asked for the details of the Tosha Khana case, which were not provided by the government and now the government itself is trapped in Tosha Khana.

PTI Chairman said that Nawaz Sharif wants Imran Khan to be disqualified. Let me clearly state The Jail Bharu movement is a peaceful protest and after that, we have another protest lined up. He has given instructions to his party members to prepare for the Jail Bharu Movement, and millions of people from all over the country will be voluntarily arrested.

Chairman PTI further said that all parties are thinking about participating in the conference, Bilawal can have breakfast in America but is still not willing to go to Afghanistan for peace.  There should not be talks with India until the original status of Kashmir is restored. He said what an irony that Maryam Nawaz went for surgery that could only be performed in two particular countries.
