In Sindh, it has been disclosed that 324 children infected with HIV have passed away. As per the details shared by the Sindh Health Department, these deaths occurred within four years, with 164 occurring in one year.

According to the Sindh Health Department, out of the 2,865 children infected with HIV in Sindh, 324 have died in the past four years, with 207 being boys and 117 being girls. In the last year alone, 164 HIV-infected children have died in the province.
Over the past two months, 17 more children have been diagnosed with the virus. Dr. Fatima Mir, an expert in pediatric infectious diseases, states that tuberculosis is the leading cause of death for HIV-infected children in Sindh. These children are also commonly affected by anemia, lack of vaccination, and hepatitis B and C.
