In Hafizabad, a young girl who was reportedly abducted and sold for a sum of Rs 600,000 has been found safe, as per ARY News’ report on Saturday. The traumatized victim shared her harrowing experience, stating that she was kidnapped in a car while returning from an academy and subsequently sold to her captors for a significant amount.
During her captivity, she endured violence, including having her hair cut off, and continuous sexual assault.
Despite the ordeal, the girl’s family expressed their frustration over the lack of arrests and medical assistance provided by the authorities.
Moreover, they alleged that the police are issuing threats, coercing them into settling with the culprits. The victim’s family is now seeking intervention from higher authorities, highlighting the influence wielded by the perpetrators and the apparent inaction of the local police in taking appropriate action against those responsible.
