Washington: United Arab Emirates (UAE) astronaut Sultan Al-Niyadi shared a video of Masjid al-Haram and Masjid Nabawi (peace be upon him) from the International Space Station (ISS).
On the 27th night of Ramadan, Sultan Al-Niyadi, who is on the 6-month space mission of the American space research agency NASA, shared the scenes from space of Masjid al-Haram and Masjid Nabawi (peace be upon him) on his social media account, which went viral.
In the video shared by the Emirati astronaut, it can be seen that the Masjid al-Haram and the Prophet’s Mosque are visible in the darkness seen on Earth from space.

On April 28, Sultan Al-Niyadi will take part in a six-and-a-half-hour spacewalk with NASA flight engineer Stephen Bown, after which he will become the first Arab astronaut to walk in space. Astronaut Sultan Al Nyadi is part of NASA’s mission to conduct experiments on human cell growth in microgravity.
