Ramadan Relief Package 2023
Islamabad: The Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet has approved the Ramadan Relief Package 2023 worth Rs 5 billion. Also, the approval to abolish the storage charges imposed on the containers and cargoes standing at the ports has also been given.
Under the chairmanship of Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, the Ramadan relief package got approved in the meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet held on Wednesday. According to the Ministry of Finance, 19 essential items will be subsidized through utility stores in the month of Ramadan.

In the meeting of ICC, 1 billion 33 crores in the form of 3 technical grants for the Ministry of Housing and Works, 700 crores technical grants for MNAs, funds for the headquarters of North and South FC in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 2 technical grants for the Ministry of Interior. 3 crore 20 lakh rupees have been approved.
In the meeting, the price of wheat for the year 2022-23 is fixed at Rs 3900 per 40kg. The imposition of an additional surcharge on electricity in the next financial year has also been approved. for K Electric., Tariff rationalization for the first quarter of the year 2022-23 and the second quarter of the year 2021-22.
