Islamabad, Regarding the Supreme Court’s election decision in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Barrister Ali Zafar, lawyer of Tehreek-e-Insaf said that the date of the Punjab Assembly Election will be given by the President and the date of KPK elections will be given by the Governor. Disobeying the court will be contempt of court.
According to private News, Barrister Ali Zafar said that today’s decision is a victory for the Constitution. Further, The Supreme Court urged to hold the election within 90 days.

Although, The President can announce the final date after consulting the Election Commission. The decision of three judges is a sufficient majority and this is the decision that will be considered.
The court said that according to the Election Act, if the governor dissolves the assembly, then the government announces the date, whereas if the governor does not dissolve the assembly, then the president gives the date.
