Ahmedabad: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was fined for asking Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to show his degree.
According to foreign media, the Gujarat High Court imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for asking for details of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s degree. The court also expressed doubts about the intention of the Chief Minister of Delhi.

The Gujarat High Court said that why did Arvind Kejriwal feel the need to make this issue controversial when the Prime Minister’s degrees have already been made public. There is an exemption in the case of showing your educational degrees in presence.
The current Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, has been the Chief Minister of Gujarat. More than 2,000 Muslims were martyred in the anti-Muslim riots during his rule, on the basis of which Modi was given the title of ‘Butcher of Gujarat’ by the foreign media.
