Case Registered Against Taapsee Panu for Hurting Religious Sentiments

Mumbai: A police case has been registered against Indian actress Taapsee Pannu for hurting religious sentiments.

According to Indian media reports, the son of BJP MLA Malni Gor filed a complaint against actress Taapsee Pannu in Indore, Madhya Pradesh on March 27.

On March 12 in Mumbai, the actress wore a nude dress during the ramp walk at the Lakme Fashion Week, which drew strong condemnation from Hindus.

Eklavya Gaur has accused Taapsee of wearing a revealing dress and a necklace with the image of Goddess Lakshmi during the ramp walk, which hurt religious sentiments and the image of ‘Sanatan Dharma’.

SHO of the police station Kapil Sharma says that a complaint has been registered against the actress and action has also been initiated. However, no statement has yet come out on behalf of Taapsee Pannu.

It should be remembered that on March 12, Lakmi Fashion Week was held in Mumbai, in which many Indian stars including Taapsee walked the ramp.
