Billions at retailers reduced the relief package issued during Ramadan. The administration claims rather than making the general public more vulnerable to the upward rise of costs. It has decided to clip the already given relief.
Compared to last year, a 3 billion 28 crore rupees package was cut for Ramadan. The total worth of the allocated Ramadan advice package was 4 billion 997 million rupees, compared to 8 billion 28 million rupees under the package last year. The PTI government awarded this advice to all supermarkets.

Under the package, the beneficiaries will receive a package with 19 subsidised items. Credit sources indicate that beneficiaries will receive a subsidised cost of Rs 100 per kg of ghee, tea, and flour and 30 rupees per kg of sugar, milk, and beverages. Rs. 50 per kg of protein will be dispensed, and Rs. 25 will be given per litre of vegetable oil.
Under the Ramadan package given to Muslims, subsidies will be given of Rs 50 per head on besan and dates, Rs 25 per head on oil, and Rs. 25 per person on sugar.
In addition to the BISP beneficiaries, there will be a subsidy of 27 12 rupees per kilogram of flour, 11 rupees per kg of sugar, 25 rupees per kg of ghee, and 20 rupees per kg of ghee and grains. 50 50 rupees will be paid in ghee and pulses totalling Rs 3 billion 84 crore rupees distributed in 33 A GSP pkg 51 pkg.
