The Balochistan government has announced it will provide one month’s free ration to deserving families during Ramadan.
To identify these families, data will be collected from all districts. The decision was made during a video conference meeting chaired by Chief Minister Abdul Qudous Bizenjo.
In addition, the Chief Minister instructed that flour and ration should be prioritized for those affected by floods. The meeting also discussed issues such as the reduction in gas pressure, electricity load shedding, and rain.
During a high-level video link meeting chaired by Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Qudous Bizenjo, the reduction in gas pressure and electricity load shedding was reviewed.

The Chief Minister expressed frustration over the situation and directed KISO and SSGC to improve it immediately. He emphasized that the non-availability of gas and electricity during Ramadan is unacceptable and ordered the authorities to register a strong protest with the federal government on this issue.
The meeting also discussed the provision of one month’s free ration to deserving families during Ramadan, and the Chief Minister directed the compilation of data on these families in all districts of the province. Additionally, the meeting addressed the priority of providing flour and ration to the flood-affected areas.
