The investigation into the police line mosque blast in Peshawar has made significant strides, with the recent apprehension of two individuals who are believed to have aided the attacker.
One of the arrested suspects, Malik Saad, has been linked to the suicide attack. Meanwhile, an Afghan national attempting to flee the country has also been taken into custody. Authorities have recovered the individual’s passport and other pertinent documents, currently being examined as part of the ongoing investigation.
Sources have revealed that one of the suspects who has been taken into custody in connection with the police line mosque blast hails from Afghanistan, while the other is from Khyber district and was arrested in Hashtnagari.
The Afghan facilitator has been identified as a resident of Nangarhar province. It is worth noting that the devastating suicide attack, which occurred on January 30, claimed the lives of over 100 people at the Police Lines mosque.
