An Emergency meeting of the National Assembly has been called this evening

ISLAMABAD: The schedule of the National Assembly session has been changed, instead of April 26, the session will be held today at 5 pm. On the instructions of the Speaker of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Secretariat issued a letter to change the session.

Apart from this, the in-camera meeting of the National Security Committee is going on in the Assembly Hall. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Army Chief General Asim Munir, DG ISI, DG Military Operations and top military officials, IG Punjab, Chief Secretary Punjab, Federal Secretaries Interior, Foreign, Finance, Defense and Broadcasting, four provincial chief ministers. All four provincial chief secretaries and IGs are participating in the meeting.
