A team of policemen has been formed to investigate the alleged death of a PTI worker

• Punjab Police have formed two members inquiry committee.
• The committee concluded on D.I.G and S.S.P.

Punjab Police has formed two members inquiry committee on the unfortunate death of the PTI worker incident that took place during the rally of Pakistan Terhrek e Insaf at Zaman Park Lahore. 

The inquiry committee will investigate the incident. The committee included S.S.P Imran Kishwar and D.I.G Elite force Musadaq Ali.

The inquiry team will take the statements of witnesses, review video footage and submit a report containing the CCTV footage and video clip of the incident to the Inspector General of Punjab within three days.

Yesterday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf spokesperson Sardar Afzal Khan claimed that one party worker was killed and several others were injured due to alleged torture and shelling by Punjab Police. 

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi took notice of Afzal’s claim and immediately investigated what happened.
