Islamabad: A petition was filed in the Supreme Court to dismiss President Arif Alvi from office.
The petition has been filed by the citizen Chaudhry Muhammad Imtiaz, and President Arif Alvi has been made a party in the petition.
In the petition, the position has been taken that Arif Alvi is not eligible for the post of President, and the Supreme Court should remove the President from the post immediately.

The citizen says that the President is attached to a political party and is biased. And also refused to sign the Islamabad Local Government Act.
The petition states that the president’s refusal to fulfill his constitutional duties shows that he is not fit for the office of the president, so he should be removed.
