54 Police Officers Were Injured In Operation To Arrest Imran Khan

Lahore: 54 policemen were injured in an operation to arrest Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan.

The police fired shelling and used water cannons to disperse the PTI workers while the PTI workers pelted stones at the police and Rangers.

Hospital sources say that 64 people were injured in the clashes between police and PTI workers, including DIG Operations Islamabad Shahzad Bukhari.

According to sources, 54 police officers and ten civilians are injured. Fifty-one policemen were brought to services, and 3 to Mayo Hospital.
